TANK EMBLEM INSTALL ?
#21
I painted my tank in late October. Waited a solid two months to badge it. Bought new badges. Just went through the expense and hassle of painting, I wound't cheap out on $40 worth of badges. Also, new paint does a lot of curing for months after fresh paint, so much better to let it sit before waxing and badging. If you badge fresh paint, you'll definitely get a mark/shadow. The longer you wait to wax the better it'll look in the long run. I still haven't waxed mine. If you can't resist putting something on, get some 3m imperial hand glaze. That doesn't seal up the paint. What's the hurry anyway?
And davedoodles recommendation on badge placement is spot on... A second set of eyes is good too.

Double Sided Tape
OK guys since this thread is a few years old and I know guys are always looking, from what I found so far with the double sided tape is the 3M 4318-1"x36YD. Its a double sided foam tape with a 1/8 thickness. The problem is its sold by the case and I have not been able to find anywhere online that sells it per roll. Im gonna call some body shops on Monday and see if they have anything similar or would be able to sell about 2 feet of the stuff... Lets see!!!!
