Default PClll Question about O2 eliminator

I bought all the stuff for stage1 upgrade inluding V&H BSS, PClll and, KN3909. The PClll has O2 eliminators and no longer needs them so I bought the plugs that go in the bungs on the pipes. What do I do with the wires that the O2 sensors plugged into?Do I just cover them with deox compound, tape them up, and tuck them away?Thought i would leave the sensors in the old pipes in case I ever sold the bike or needed to put them back on for some reason. Thanks

I can be wrong but I think that you will need to use those cables, don’t the o2 sensor eliminators plug in to the cables that the o2 sensors were using?

You can leave the o2 sensors or remove them and screw caps into the bungs. While I ran the PC III I left the sensors in place. Just disconnect the o2 sensors and wire tie the cable on the o2 sensors so that it will not flop around. You will use the o2 eliminators to cap the cables going to the ECM.

I disconnected mine at both ends and removed wires. I also used the crush washers off the 02 sensors when I plugged the bungs.
