When I bought my SB, my buddies were pushing for me to get a softy. I don't know why. Anyway, I personally like the look and feel of a Dyna better. There's just something about exposed shocks that looks "correct" to me.
I see a decent amount of Dynas around here, but definately more softies and baggers.
My Dyan was "out" for about 130 miles yesterdayOf the 4 people I know well there are two Dynas, 1 softail and 1 fat boy. The StreetBob was the one that really caught my eye. I've rode friends Firefighter Edition Fat Boy around town and sure do prefer my streetbob.
So the question begs to be asked, do they have less on the floor because they sell less or are they just not that popular? I don't really give a shat because I like being different. Just curious I guess.
Just look around on the road and answer your own question - they sell less. That's probably while you see a good number of Sportsters on the floor when they don't have that many dyna's as well. Due to the pricing of them, they sell more of those as well.
