Opinions PLEASE
I got tired of the Willie G. Skull derby cover, and there aren't many options for the cover. I had my stock St. Bob cover and this is what I came up with. Pretty simple mod. Most time spent was cutting the masking tape.
Started by scuffing up the stock cover w/ 400 paper. Shot down a coat of Krylon flat black textured paint. Found a font that I liked and printed out a stencil. Completely covered the derby in masking tape, and taped the stencil onto the masking tape. Used an Xacto on the stencil.
Shot a coat of Dupli-Color Chrome on and this is the result. $7 for paint and about 2 and a half hours. Can honestly say that I haven't seen anyone else do this, so I'm thinking is it should look pretty original.
