ditto. Good stuff. It's that slight drop in passing power you mentioned that struck me about my setup.

PS - Your bike is looking sharp!!

Thanks for the bike compliments (bikeliments?). It's funny how I'm getting sucked into the mods now. When I originally put the downpayment on it, I fully had intentions of leaving it stock. Then a buddy of mine said it sounded like a Volkswagon. That put me on the mod path immediately. :-)

Now that Stage 1 is complete, I can actually see myself adding a TFI in the future. Oh...and I'm going to eventually get some longer apes too. I guess this road never ends, does it?

I want to install a new a/c. Glad to see it can be done at home with a little elbow grease. Great job! Bike looks killer.

Whiff,

You gotta remove those reflectors!! Especially on the forks.

Also since you've got the black motor you should either spend another $35 and buy the chrome Screamin Eagle backing plate (29510-05) or buy some flat black spray paint and take your existing plate off and spray it. Either way you'd get rid of the silver plate which is kind of out of place.

I'm not knocking your bike at all, it looks GREAT, I'm just pointing out that it would "flow" better without the reflectors breaking things up or a silver plate standing out against black when nothing else on the bike is silver.

I replaced my silver plate with the chrome plate even though I have the silver engine and it looked a lot better.

Yeah, lol, I remember telling you that too! See I don't steer you wrong!

I need new pictures too. My bike looks NOTHING like the pics on my website anymore. I've changed so much crap that it's a totally new bike all over again. Problem is I'm in the middle of winter so good pictures will have to wait for Spring. [:'(]

Oh, and sorry for being a hijack accomplice.

I'll think about those reflectors. I ride at night alot...black bike, black jacket, black helmet, Los Angeles. I'm a bit paranoid.

As far as the backplate goes, it doesn't bother me at the moment. Eventually, I may paint it black - definitely not getting the chrome version. I'm trying to minimize that stuff. In fact, I'm thinking of doing something to my chrome horn cover.

By all means keep them on then. I'd rather have you around than being pancaked on someone's grille.
