WHIFFLE remember me? I live in LA as well and have yet to run into you on my way from West Hollywood area to my work in Santa Monica. But i'm sure we see each other on the road soon. I'll know it's you by the cool filter cover. I'm about to do the same mods to my BOB however I may black tape the pipes as well. What slipons ate those? The bike looks badass.
The SEII Baloney Cuts (80258-99a). I tried PMing you a couple of times but I'm not sure if you got them. I work in West Hollywood, believe it or not. :-)
Yeah Whiff, good lookin' out. Like the bag too. Which bag is that ?? HD or another brand. You & your friend are funny. I used to kick it in West Hollywood all the time. I'm the wanna be rockstar type always looking to run into Lemmy, the guys from Poison, Crue, or Warrant. Insert laughter here, but I was lucky & met them all ( except Lemmy, I drank many times at the Rainbow & he never came in ).
Later,
Chap
PS Good pix to follow from what i've done to my bike. Getting the curved laydown plate tomorrow & getting that handlebar clock taken care of.
Ohh, the Rainbow food. The best Pizza & atmosphere. I will stay in touch. I need to get back up there for some shows, been a long time. I miss the Roxy, Palladinos, Whisky etc. Everytime I see Rockstar, Mark Wahlberg & Mats are sitting at the Rainbow discussing Mats marriage. I see the pix on the wall & just need to get back. People who haven't hung there just do not know...
Band just played the Whisky up in Hollywood. What a blast. If interested, we are playing the Cat Club on Sunset ( right next to the Whiskey ) Saturday night, the 17th at 11 pm. Maybe i'll see ya there. Sorry, dont want to get off the subject of bikes, but i was looking at my old posts & saw this one.
trying to install Cycle Shack slip ons. Can tell this. The Torca clamp. Does it have to be totally removed before the muffler will slide out or will simply removing the nut rendering the clamp loose work? I think it might the latter as I can't get the muffler to budge a bit. This is 2005 SuperGlide with less than 4000 miles. Can't be that damn
tight.
