I once asked a woman to marry me while I was drunk, She came all the way from MN to CA to say yes, and I didn't remember any of it. Although there were several of my "friends" there when I did it, no one tried to stop me. It was a horrible part of my life and hers. After a few more stupid life endangering things, I finally decided to stop the action that caused the bad re-action, namely drinking. I have been sober for 19 years now. The proposal thing I did, and quite a few other no-brain required, filter off, things I did, were bad enough, but ATTEMPTED MURDER?!?! Someone trying to KILL YOU?!?! I know you may have heard this before, but maybe, just maybe, you are in that crowd that I belong to, of people that just should not drink, O.K? Something to seriously think about. And if you think I am hard on you, wait till you get in front of a judge like the one who sentenced me after a particularly stupid drunken incident.

But thats another story.
I'm in that same crowd............... A crowd can become a very lonely place.

It is nice that you apologized, and hopefully meant itThe guy didn't deserve what he got from you.

One thing to keep in mind. It's not my decision or yours whether an apology is acceptable.

HDforums.com has moderators that monitor all the forums, and they will decide whether you belong here or not.

This is not just a message board, and the folks on the other end of your post are real human beings with real feelings.

Many of us have been on the forum for years, not days. I would suggest reading the rules if you want to call this home for long.

Personally, it's not in anyones best interest to insult me or anyone else in front of thousands of other forum members.

When someone contacts the Administrators with a complaint about a post, I assure you it gets checked out immediately.

Not on any "high horse" here, just trying to help you out a little

Does this mean we can spend more time discussing motorcycles, *******, and other wonderful things in life? I just spent 30 minutes reading through a Dr. Phil episode, and I will never get that back!!!

Bottom line... common sense. Treat others the way you wish to be treated.
Ride as often as you can. All riders are your brothers. And when the day is done, even if disagreements are unresolved, we all would pull over and help each other along the road side.
