There seem to be a few members having a problem understanding the "No Cussing" rule on HDF. I've let some things go in the past and even taken a couple of words off the censor list to loosen things a bit. If you can't type the word without the censor showing it like this ***** then you can't mispell the word or space it out like this...f u c k. Do you get my meaning? If you want to cuss then type out the word and let the censor take care of it for you. We will get the drift of your post when we see the ****. If I see members trying to beat the censor then their post will be deleted and they will receive a warning. I realize this is a Harley site but we have rules and we will continue to enforce them. The link below will take you to the rules. Please read them and pay close attention to #1, #13 AND #14. Please feel free to read the rest of them too so that you will know all of them.
does typing "s*&t" or "f&^#ing" count as trying to bypass the filter?
i type cusses out like that, because when the filter changes it all to "********" it can be hard to tell what i am trying to get across.
Good on ya, Terry. That's one of the things I like about this site. Profanity is not constantly thrown in your face. One doesn't have to be a rocket scientist to get their point across without cussing.
I try to keep it clean, but then dear old Aunt Bertha peeks over my shoulder and says things like , "What the foo! Tell that d***head to go *** himself!"[]
Or, "Get the hell away from that keyboard... I'll handle this reply Johnny!"
