I am looking to get a new seat been wanting a sundowner i sat on one in a store once but dam if i can remember weather it was a deep bucket or the tallboy.
What do you guys like and recommend iam 6 ft 1 and ride a superglide 07. looking for comfort for the long rides as i ride alot and offten.
Skully, I bought a Sundowner and traded it here for a Tallboy. Virtually the same seat except that the Sundowner felt like it was pushing me farther forward than stock and the Tallboy pulls you back from stock a little bit. Both very comfortable for rider and passenger but I still prefer to make my fun runs with a lower stock style seat. The Tallboy gives me enough leg room but the padding puts me up higher than I really want to be.
Pic of bike with seat below. Can't even remember, nor could I tell you if this was the Sundowner or the Tallboy. I'll put it this way, my wife doesn't know I traded and she's never noticed or mentioned a thing about it.
I like Mustang seats, this is the second one I have bought. The quality is excellent and they made in the USA in Connecticut. I can ride on it all day my wife likes it too, we have rode many 300-400 mike days on it.
Went down and talked to my buddy at the parts counter and we pulled out a sundowner and put it on a bike like mine i sat on it and i like it picking it up tomorrow. 15% off puts it at $244 out the door.
