Installing 16" apes on a 2006 StreetBob
I'm installing 16" wild 1 chubbys on my Street Bob and I was look for any suggestions on cables. What length should I buy and what is a good brand. Also how hard is the tank to remove. Any help out there is greatly appriciated. Keep the rubber side down!

I have 14" Chubby's on mine and ran HD Diamondback braided and couldnt be happier. I went +6 on all of them. You could go +6 on throttle/idle and brake line, my clutch is as short as I would like it, would probably go +8 clutch if I went with 16". Dont forget you need to extend all your electrical. As far as the tank you need to pull the fuel pump fuse and fire the bike to get fuel out of the line then pull the fuel line from the tank. Unbolt the tank and slide it back to access the wires in the headtube BE CAREFUL NOT TO SCRATCH THE FRONT ROCKER WITH THE CLIPS FROM THE CROSSOVER HOSE UNDER FRONT OF TANK. I put painters tape and a rag on the rocker. Also if doing it yourself BUY THE MANUAL!...good luck.
