Well having cut a frame and running raked trees I can tell you that You measure 10 times and cut once,LOL. There is something to what Traveler is saying. At 3 degrees you can still ride a motorcycle around for the most part at normal cruzing speeds and it act close to normal. but at 80 or 90 MPH ( Not that any of us here ever ride that fast,LOL) The bike will take on different handling than the stock rake bike and it at even sligthly higher speeds could even potentially cause wobble in the frontend. Now for the most part 3 degrees by itself is ok in the trees. But if you exceed 5 you are really asking for trouble if you don't compensate in the neck. Believe it or not lowering a bike does change its rake, But most of the time it is so small of a change its not all that noticeable. My bike handles very well, But I did alot of homework and measuring before I started cutting and welding. The nice thing about the AME and Seeger is that they have done all of the calculations and machining for you. So No guess work. And because they have compensated by there designs for the rake , Handling should be as good or if not even a tad better than stock. I think any Raked Dyna looks sweet . You just don't see that many of them. Traveler Did his homework as well to build 1 sweet Sussie that handles I'm sure like a dream
The Wideglide has a 31 degree frame, But Im not sure about the lowrider? With the wideglide they add 3 in the neck ( In its frame) And 3 in the trees if memory serves me right to correct on the trail. A nice combo
I'm not sure I'm understanding. Accutronix sells 3 degree rake triple trees. I have no idea what a stock rake is but what I'm trying to see is what the bike would look like if I put the 3 degree triple trees from Accutronix on. Did I askt the right question in the original post?
Wish I could help with a picture - and yes you did ask a valid question - you just wanted a picture - and instead you got a lecture.
Lecture? Funny....I thought I was being nice explaining everything in detail, and that the SEARCH function is a truly marvelous thing![&:]

you started off your post with this:
" With all respect.....You are confused."
that sounds like a lecture where I come from ........
I do agree on the raked cups as the best solution for adding 3deg. I have never done it - they must be tricky to install as I'd think the alignment needs to be perfect - but it is a cheaper and better solution to raked trees.
