Hey man - that sounds like a great addition; please let me know if you find out if it works.
Thanks

I'm pretty sure Traveler has them on his bike!

I believe Traveler put a Wide Glide front end with 2 degrees rake, the put on 3 degree raked bearing cups. Looks awesome.

If this gives you any sort of visual, here is my Super Glide with a 1.5 raked set of Low Rider trees.

I've got WG trees with a 3 degree rake in them. I bought my stuff through Seeger Cycle. Check them out online or in AI Mag. They were great with tech support. Check out my pick below...

My bike that they are referring to is below....

3 degree trees (actually it's an entire custom front end)
3 degree bearing cups
=6 degrees total

If you use the rake and trail calculator, you will find that the raked bearing cups let you keep trail, which seems to be a good thing!

I'm not sure I'm understanding. Accutronix sells 3 degree rake triple trees. I have no idea what a stock rake is but what I'm trying to see is what the bike would look like if I put the 3 degree triple trees from Accutronix on. Did I askt the right question in the original post?

With all respect.....You are confused.

rb racing has a rake and trail calculator online. This along with ALOT of information is all available through a google search.

Just "slapping on a set of raked trees" will cause a disaster! The bike will be flat out DANGEROUS to ride! Raked trees were made for one purpose....to correct the TRAIL on frames that had alot of rake in the FRAME.

Now....I have a 2005 Superglide. She came with 28 degrees of rake in the FRAME.[&o][&o][&o] Using the RBracing calculator, I found that the ONLY way I could increase the rake without cutting the frame was to increase the rake in the frame another way.....somehow[&:][&:], and then increase the rake in the forks (triple trees). By using raked bearing cups, I was able to add 3 degrees to my head tube rake~28+3=31 degrees. I could only rake the forks (trees) 3 degrees and have "livable" trail.[&:] So, I found that Accutronix, and others wanted so much money jsut fortriple trees, that hell....I can buy a complete front end brand new off of eBay for less! ( and gain 41mm tubes isntead of 39mm....) That is why I have a 3 degree raked front end....made for a softtail by Rick Doss....full custom front end....kicks the $hit out of a stocker, in my opinion. These front ends so so damn nice...really!!!!!!

There is really alot to doing all of this, front wheel, brake caliper, spacers, etc.....and I have already written about all of it, at least twice. Not trying to sound like a *****....but you guys need to go to the top of the screen, and learn how to use the SEARCH function. All you have to do is search all of my posts...the ones I have written. I won't lead you wrong...all of the crap I have written about is ON MY BIKE...and therefore, is proof positive that it works.

Looking back....I should have just raked the frame out to 40 degrees, and then got a raked front end to work....I LOVE RAKE...and I still don't have enough "to my eye"!

"R Racing" has cut/raked his frame and put 5 degree forks on his....his bike is "the $hit"...IMHO.....he is the Man, and a friend in my mind....haven't even met eye to eye, but will eventually.....we share a love of Mustangs and Harleys!
