Chrome My Lowers?
I don't have the time to sand my lowers into mirror polished perfection like some here have done. I envy you, but know I'd probably just screw them up. I'm looking to replace my fork springs with Progressives and figured I should have the chroming done at the same time.
Looking for a chroming referral in the Dallas/Garland area.
Anyone?

I actually used paint stripper to remove the clear coat on the lowers and it polishes up nicely after that with just a polishing wheel and mother's. Obviously it could be a little better if I wet sand it a little, but it still looks good. Plus with the polished alluminum you can sand out any nicks from the road.

I'm planning to powdercoat the takeoff lowers from my '06 SB and would like to sell the chrome ones I have on now to finance the project. Send me an email if you're interested and I'll send you some photos of the chrome lowers.
