I am not sure. I know that aftermarket seat makers have a different part number for Wide Glide and normal Dyna. I think it has to do with the fender contour. You might try calling one of the aftermarket companies and asking them what the difference might be and then you could try to make the needed modifications. I know when I called LaPera regarding a seat for the new FatBod they were very helpful with me. I know the stock SB seat will fit on my bike, however there are differences in the base plate which is why I went with the silhouette, that and I like the looks better.
