I have a street Bob with 3000 miles on it.

Trans is fine, shifts good and has had no problems.

06 Bob. 2600 miles. I love it. The tranny to me is, great compared to an 03 WG. Zero probs here.

2006 FXDWGI Wide Glide
1800 miles
Stage one (SE slip on slachdowns, SE high flow A/C, factory D/L) some sayyouneed SERT, DFO..... My set up is running great... we will see.
Sissy bar, Tool bag, Sissy bar bag...so far!

New frame, wider down tubes....handles great, and is smooth as butter on the highway. Clutch is easy, tranny is smooth, and the 6th gear is nice. I was worried the ratios would just have me shifting sooner, but no. I love the 6 speed. Shocks, seat, pegs all great. I am 6 feet tall, and this bike handles great, is comfortable, and has plenty of power. I have two Harleys, but this bike, is awesome. I will have this bike till they throw me in a hole.
If I had to find some cons, there would really only be two....one, the plastic piece under the seat instead of a full fender, and the lack of a stock sissy bar. These are WG specific though. Dynas as a whole for 06....two thumbs up. Sure, a tranny issue, but the MoCo is working out the bugs, and I will deal with it. I love the bike.

2006 Street Bob, Denim Black With Close To 500 Miles...

My first Harley & I love it. Just much more power/torque than my old jap bikes. Complaints, none really except what already has been said. The stock exhaust is terrible ( thank god for tax returns ), the mids & mini apes take a minute to get used to ( but once comfy, they are the absolute best ) & that's about it. Love the denim black paint option, which is what originally sold me on the Bob in the first place.

Later,
Chap

FXDLI. 1500 miles and I rode it yesterday. I Bought it in September and love it. The 6 speed is quiet and has positive shifts. I have had no problem with the brakes.

ORIGINAL: Whiffleboy

SoCal traffic which normally flows at 80 mph on the freeways.
Did you accidentally add a 0 to that mph figure? I live in L.A. and I've never seen the freeways move like that for any measurable distance. [8D]

2006 Street Bob
1300 miles
Shifts as good as any other [non-Harley] bike I've had/ridden.
Effin' awesome bike. Very proud of it.

Whiff
I should have clarified. I mean non rush hour in South Orange County and the I-5 to Oceanside. I know what you mean about LA and I feel your pain![8D]

What model Dyna do you own? Wide Glide

How many miles do you have on the 2006 Dyna? 1085

Give us your opinion on the 6 speed.... GREAT!

The only things I don't like is the plastic piece under the seat instead of a full fender, and the seat. Other than that, I love this bike!
