I'm about to pick up my '08 SG after having V&H Slipons and a high air flow kit put on it. I went ahead with the remap.
I haven't heard about it raising the rev limiter.Do we know that for sure? How can I go about finding what all the remap will change from stock?
Will let you know how it all goes! Also adding (much needed) forward controls.

If you buy a full system, intake and exhaust, that has been designed together and designed to work within the range of the stock fuel system then you will be OK. If you are piece mealing things together, then you will not know where you are unless you dyno and remap it.
If you are really looking for more power you should buy a full system (slipons can be part of a full system). I have had friends that just put on loud exhaust and the engines actually made less power.
Its great when you can purchase a full system like the S&S and the AIM article.
