Seems to me I remember some posts a few months ago on this.I have a2006 Fxdl with 49mm Forks and Wideglide tripples.
I would do a search but as you know it is down.
Doing a WideGlide conversion on the LowRider and the Pinch bolts on theWideGlide trees are on a 45* angle which eliminates my previous Turn signal mounts.
Any Ideas? What are you all running for Turn signals on your Wideglide Fork Tubes ???
Im using WG trees with my standard Street Bob 49mm tubes and mounting the signals with the 49mm Kuryakyn clamps just above the lower tree. I'm sorry but not sure what the question was....if it is can it be done? then yes. Metal_Mike is running the same setup on his and he's got some pics in his gallery. BTW search function is working again, at least it was yesterday.
The Kury Clamps should work fine, Was curious what others have done and Maybe other options.
I have the HD Bullet housings, Do you have to change the bolt on the Kury Clampsto work with the HD Signals? For some reason I thought the Kurys were made for Kury Silver bullets
the bolt that comes with the kury clamps is a 5/16 -18 (coarse pitch) ...you need to replace them with 5/16 -24 (fine pitch) ....length, spacers, and jam nuts is up to you, really

I went through the turn signal mount routine with Kuryakyn not long ago. The #2390 mounts are not available for the 49mm forks. I know that they say that they are but if you look at the order page you will see that you can only order the 31mm and the 41mm mounts. Thinking that it was a typo and that perhaps the 49mm were actually available I called and the answer that I received was that the order page is correct, only the 31mmmand 41mm are available. See the link (order page) below, look at the order now area.
I ended up using the Kuryakyn ring type mounts #2278 , but I recently purchased a set of the mounts from J&P, I will give them a try and see which set I prefer.
