Bad eBay experience
This should belong in the general therad but thought I give a heads up when it comes to parting with your hard earned $$$$.
Don't want to slam this guy to bad but very weak andawful customer service. Seems like he is in over his head a bit.
ZERO Inventory........ You bid, then he orders. Turtle speed shippingand Poor packaging, despite high price for shipping. [Profit margin]
Had to prompt and spoon feed on every single customer service issue, Very frustrating......Whines a lot about one man show business but when there is a hickup he blames "Ghost Employee".
Feed back is usually a Advertisment Plug or a single period sign' A little Cheezy......
Have dealt with eBay for quite a while and this one stood out as the worst experience ever.
Bought a Part from this fella on Dec 31ST 2007. Sent out wrong part twice. Finally refunded on the Feb 28TH 2008

The one positive from this is I now Read the positive feedback comments.
Most buyers don't want to leave neutral or negitive but they will "comment" when posting Positive feedback.
He kept asking "How can I make this up to you? " When I'd make a suggestion over and over to ship a little quicker, It fell on def ears.
So I don't think it's being sincere, It's more like Manipulation. Song and dance. Talk is Cheap.
looks like the prices are good but the CS is not so good. Pretty much anytime I have ordered off ebay it takes 10 days. I try to buy local if its quicker but sometimes you get those deals you cant pass up on ebay.

You have to understand how these guys operations work. I'm not sure this applies to this individual - but here is what I see with some: They basically just list tons of parts that are in the Drag Specialties Fatbook, Kuryakyn book, whatever. Since they are a "dealer" they probably get 20% off list, and items ship to them for free. They pass on some of the savings to you and the price looks attractive. Then they gouge you on shipping. They have no stock - when you buy on ebay - then they place an order with Drag (or whoever), get it shipped to them - then they turn around and ship it to you. I'd guess most of their profit is actually in the inflated shipping cost.
My wife bought some grips from this guy as one of my Christmas gifts. I got the grips well over a month after we paid for them. He doesn't even ship the item, it comes from Iship or something like that. He did refund my money (was before the grips showed up finally) and asked that I contact him IF they showed up. They did and I emailed him, he said he would send me a return label......that was a month ago now with no label. I won't do business with him again, and I wouldn't suggest anyone else does either.
ebay can be a crap shoot some times . I always ship usps they will come and pick up at my door and it usually is faster and cheaper than anyother way. I bought a set of screaming eagle heads for a sportster on ebay and when the package arrived all I had was a shift linkage for a big twin lol I freaked and contacted the seller fortunatly they got on the ball tracked down my heads and got them sent to the right address . they appologised and offered to let me keep the part they sent for my trouble but I done what was right and sent it back , luck was on my side that time but it could of turned out alot worse and I could of ended up with a 500.00 shift link . I us pay pal that way if there is a problem I have a recourse to get my money back.
thanks for the heads up on the crappy seller.
