I'd like a sportier look....the stocker is too long.....any options?? custom?? I could care less about re-painting to the denim red....would a wide glide fender fit??? thanks...
just called HD....fatbob and mounting kit...painited 600 bucks....guess you wanna' play...you're gonna' play.
Dude, there should be a color-matched bobtail fender listed in the catalog for your model. There was for my '06, anyway. You will need the fender itself and the mounting kit which contains everything else necessary to make the switch.
When you say 'fatbob', do you mean the fender off a new Fatbob or were referring to a run-of-the-mill bobtail fender from a Wide Glide (like mine)?

Perhaps I have misinterpreted your post(s)...
no bro...I meant 2008 Fatbob rear fender.....I called and it's about 600 for all you said....painted to match....
ok then in that case, unless you are in love with the fatbob fender, check the catalog or parts dude at local stealer and see if there is still a color-matched 'wide glide type' bobtail fender for your scoot. i think mine, in black denim, was ~$300, about a year ago. 'course, the install kit was another couple hundred, if i remember correctly...
It's a different look but you can chop the one you have for next to nothing.Nevermind I thought you had a Street Bob, still you can get a used Street Bob or Dyna fender and chop the hell out of it for allot less than $600.
