They are virtually the same seat. You will be happy. Sorry about your issues. That is why I didnt order from them and went straight to LaPera. I paid more though.

Their customer service must be improving, at least. I have exchanged 3 or 4 emails with them today alone about this and have gotten answers within the hour. They have been very apologetic and offered the bare bones as an alternative but offered to let me wait for the silhouette as well. According to them, as well as several of you all, the seats are essentially the same except for the cover. It's hard not to be irked about it but, at the same time, when I searched ebay I was looking for a good price on either seat and the silhouette was the one I found. I may have bought a bare bones anyway if there had been one listed listed instead of a silhouette. According to the guy that was responding to me, it's being shipped today. I shouldhave it by Wed or Thurs at the latest.
Got my Bare Bones from ACM today. Man am I happy with it! Lovethe looks and it seems like it will be surprisingly comfortable although I can tell it is definitely not made for the long haul. But, then it even mentions on their website that it is a good seat for around town cruising. I was in the middle of cleaning my bike when the big brown truck delivered it. I only had time to take it down the street and back for a test run. Love the way it slams you down into the bike and it moves me back just far enough for the legroom I was looking forto my forward controls without putting my arms too far away from my T-bars. It's perfect! I'm sure the Silhouette would have done the same. I guess I would have been happy with either. Haven't had a chance to snap any pix yet.
