Got the 09' Fatbob wanting to go to the solo seat. Any advice on the Lepera Silhouette or Bare Bones......? Wondering about how far the seat might set you back, comfort(if any), and overall appearance. Any help and or advice would be much appreciated.
I have the bare bones on my street bob and it sits you down and back a few inches. It's actually really comfortable for being such a thin seat. I can't tell you how it is on long trips though. It seems to be the preferred solo seat amongst this crowd and it's priced very well.
I just got the Lepera Silhouette solo for my FXDF and it looks great. It actually put me up closer than the Street Bob stock seat that I was using. I'm going to try my buddies bare bones and see if it sits me back further.

I'm assuming the Street Bob seat was like the HD Brawler?? Would love to see a pic....i was kind of leaning towards the Silhouette solo....just want something with good lines and low pro......
I have the bare bones and love it. I have gone on many 300+ mile rides with it but there were some beer stops along the way. I am going to have a buddy put gel in it next week just to give a bit more cushion on the longer trips.
I have the barebones and absolutely love it. It can be a little hard on the backside when you do long trips but it softens up a little the more miles you put on it.
