As some of you know, I just recently switched to a PCIII from using the V&H FuelPak. Since then, my gas mileage has been extremely POOR! I'm getting 32 highway miles, and 25 in city. Now, that is just downright TERRIBLE. I'm running the AN big sucker stage 1, V&H Big Radius, and PCIII on an 06' StreetBob with a map loaded from FuelMoto.
Anyone have any suggestions, or is this just normal with changing out the exhaust process? I will be getting the bike dyno tuned within the near future, but until then, are there any other better maps I can use or what? Could someone please help a brotha out!
Well, compared to what I was getting before, its a huge decrease. If thats what happens with the exhaust change out, then thats fine, but I have a feeling its more then just that.
With the fuelpak, I was getting about 33-35 in city, and 45'ish highway. And I switched to the PCIII for personal prefrence, and for the ability to be able to get the bike dyno tuned. But I am very happy I made the switch, as my bike is running MUCH better since.
You need to goDyno the bike ..... You'll get much better than that ..... Pre loaded maps are just close... Tune it you'll see afterwards how much better it can really be...
You definately need to get something done. I have the same set-up, Fuel-Pak/Stage 1/except I'm running BigShot Staggerds. Last time I checked, I was averaging 47 miles to the gallon.
I have the PCIII I'm running BigShot Staggerds,K&N airfilter kit. Last time I checked I was averaging 45 miles to the gallon. 36 to low 40 mpg if I get on it alot.
