Default Sissy Bar and Lugagge Rack- Please post pics

Heres the deal. I own an 07 Street Bob. I love it. As soon as HD came out with the model it made it very easy in choosing my first bike. No question I love the look and am trying to keep what I like about it and not change the black denim bob look. With that.......planning on Sturgis this year and I will not put saddle bags on it. I have a motherwell rack(no passenger here) and have been told to make sure my kury bags stay on it would be best to add a sissy bar to anchor it all. I have a kury grancruise bag and roll. Does anyone run like this AND how does a bike look with a sissy and rack. I am having a hard time picturing this. Show me some pics if you please. Thanks

This not exactly what you were describing but thought you might want to take a look. I have searched all over for a solo seat driver back rest for my Bob and this is the only one I have found in my searching. This is imported from Germany. I am in the process of ordering one right now for $ 230. Hope this helps a little.

Later,
Joe

Thanks Joe. Yeah, the problem is that I currently have a rack, I wont put on a 2-up seat and I think I need a sissy. I like yours but yes what I see and dont think Ill like is the rack on the fender with the sissy out back. Not only do I think it might look stupid, Im not sure it would work???

k, hopefully this will help...

I road from los angeles cali, to reno/truckee nevada with a large duffle bag, tent, and fishing poll strapped to my motherwell rack. here are a few photos of what that looks like. Oh, and had no problems, just made sure it was bungee'd down good...

now for the sissy bar, I placed a detachable sissy bar on my bike, and love the fact that it can come on and off when need be. I don't have a shot of it with the rack because of the new seat, but here is a pick of it...

here is one more pic of the bike without the sissy bar, but with the hardware... look at the rear turn signal, and the next bolt about a foot from it...

so the only thing I don't have is a shot with solo seat, rack and sissy bar, sorry.

hope this helps.

This is the best money spent on a Street Bob pilot that wants to stay solo!
I've had one on my bike for several years and love it.
You can load it up and never worry about loosing your load...
The bad looks of the backrest pay back ten times with the comfort of leaning back on it on long rides.
Additionally, the back rest helps walking the bike backwards up hill, just push with your back and your bike moves with ease, and no chance of tipping over.
***You can lift the bike up with this rack or move it around when tieing it down while trailering. Yes I can lift my back wheels off the ground with this baby, try that with a junkerwell***

It's well worth $300 to ship from Germany, great company, product, and support, "they even sent me longer chrome bolts for free"!

Last year when I went camping I had a lazy rider bag (the one in my sig pic),backpack, tent, sleeping bag, small folding chair, sleeping pad and a small cooler all strapped to my Motherwell rack & sissy bar.
Looked like Jed Clampett going down the highway, but it all stayed secure the entire trip.
