The HD battery tender is part of the purchase price included with all bikes that have a security system. If you have the security and no tender you better raise hell at the dealer. If you do not have the security system and your battery is dead it's time for a service call.

When is the last time you rode it. Was the battery dead? You just said it would'nt start. Unless you ride all winter, a battery won't hold a charge on its own if its not on a tender/charger. Good luck. I put my nicely maintained battery back in the bike last saturday and went for a ride. 30 degrees F but it felt great! Hope you get out riding soon. ITs been a long winter.

I have an 07 was laid up from Nov to last weekend with battery tenderstarted in 2 turns.
Well, at least you have something to bitch about. I parked my bike at the dealership the first week of November and haven't seen her since. I'll be home this week and will be able to see her with what mods were completed, but I still won't be able to ride until June. So, to me, a dead battery is no big deal. Hope you get it squared away and can get some riding in.
