(Trying to think of a way to get this back on topic so I'm not accused of hijacking a thread! LOL)

I was talking to my ex last week and mentioned to him that I couldn't wait to take my bike up and do the Dragon Tail. He immediately poo-poo'd that idea saying I was still too much of a novice to tackle that (keep in mind he has never seen me ride, we rode two up when he and I were together). I know it's extremely curvy and steep with a lot of sport bikes and tractor trailer rigs on it, but besides that, how difficult is it really? I would think the Fat Bob could handle it quite well.

I've never done it Wench, I'd assume if you think you can handle it, then you can handle it, you seem to be pretty confident in your abilities, but just don't be over-confident and try setting some sort of "over 1500ccs" speed record.

Oh I am very wary of the over-confidence demon. While I ride aggressively, I try to be aware of my limits and capabilities. Maybe I'll do the advanced riders course before tackling it just to be sure, but if it's just a lot of twists and turns I can probably handle it. That's just fun. Thanks for the input.

hell just ride it and find out, you can ride it to your ability, ya dont have to haul *** the 1st time less it feels right. bob would probly like it, just dont overdo the 1st run, thats what I would do, (maybe)

I believe you may need one of these Ultra Ride Stabilizing System available from
http://www.terrycomp.com/ProductDetail.aspx?ProdID=81 a number of riders here who do hard cornering have them and claim they can take corners up to 15 mph faster.
