superglide speedo
Hi guys... after selling my street bob, i bought a suzuki gsx 1400 which is now back at the dealer as the efi was junk... so I am back in the market for a HD. Choices are limited. I am looking at a superglide and think it might be the bike but i just find the speedo looks odd... and was wondering if there are any ideas or pics of how to change or move...

Not sure what you mean by looking "odd." I ride a SG and absolutely love it. Did tons of internet/forum/demo research first and it came down to the SG or a Road King. Speedo is larger on the RK but you get more useful gauges on the SG and I liked the location better.

If you really don't like it then consider a lowrider or another bob. Moving it is very expensive and really not worth it. You could also go with a smaller after market speedo, but it would still be up on the bars. I just put the HD chrome housing on mine so it blends with the bars and risers better.

Or, you could put a black handlebar on like I did, to blend it a little that way...
But, yeah, I prefer the speedo up in front of me. Don't know why.
The other thing I liked about the Super Glide is the cool brushed-aluminum, aircraft-style gas cap.

If you find the speedo odd looking, I would highly suggest the FXDC. Most bang for the buck, but I love my Superglide.

i like superglides -don't get me wrong.
the suzuki is odd and that is why it back at the dealer - which means, i gave it back to him and he gave me back my money.
