My parts man laughed at me for wanting the blocks, he said the mechanics just use a piece of 2 x 4.
I went online to Zanotti's and ordered it with shipping still saved a couple bucks and the public humiliation my parts man was handing out for free that day.
so, i feel great knowing im not the only one thats been balancing the bike precariously and risking significant bike damage and dismemberment.
that said, i think i finally realize that you guys are talking about bike lifts, and adapters, not car jacks LOL sorry, i grew up hotroddin before two wheels came into my life
I tried to use one of my buddies bike jacks one time, and used my trusty 2x4 to level it, and that damn thing kicked out faster than rabitts procreate, althogh it waited until i had the front end completely out of the triple trees before doing so - needless to say, id love a safer method of raising my bike to work on - always wanted a bench lift like the wrenches at the stealership have but im cheap as f*&$k
by the way, in case you ahvent caught on, i ramble non sensically quite a bit

i've got the adapters and would glady give them away to the 1st taker- they suck massive ***, they spin on the frame rails as the jack lifts my bike. i use a 2x4 covered in heavy duct tape and strap the bike to the lift if i have to do any serious wrenching.
