Both them bands are SO underrated! I really enjoyed The Hip shows when they did the small venues, places like The Old Scotch [Calgary]. I've seen Big Sugar no less than 15 times before the band split. Still don't understand why Gordie split off. Great taste in tunes CSA and yes the interior of BC is where I spend alot of my time and hope to retire there in 15 or 20y. It doesn't get much better than the Kootney's. Cheers!!

I was a freshmen or sophmore in High School when Lunatic Fringe came out! Luntatic Fringe.......I know your out there!
He had a new album come out I think a few years back. I will have to crack open my CD's see if I can find some of his stuff........now ya got me in the mood for it!

I think Gordie was just tired. He tried to get an American record deal for a long time, ya know trying to reach a bigger market and they just blew him off. Total idiot move on there part Big Sugar is great. I love the remakes of the BTO stuff! Dear Mr. Fantasy and Let it ride! It sounds good and it really shows the talent of the Bachmans!

Rush rocks !! seen em many times in the 80's but not lately..guess we need to mention Streetheart here as well .. 
THE most under ratednonInternationally discouvered band of all timeHASto be the HIP. go figure ? Highway Girl ( live version ) is a classic that MUST be heard by all ... great crusin music. Cool Ride CSA .. lovin the drag bars.
