Bobber little more detail. Is the clutch lever hard or sitcky, or do you have an injury that makes it hard to pull. I just went in and did a cable adjustment on mine as well as a good lubing. I use my index finger and middle finger to engage the clutch, and it is a quick easy short pull. It's practicly effortless!
my clutch is not very hard to engage but now that ive broke my wrist its not as strong as before so im looking for a clutch assist. this system is very simple and it says it reduces the pull by 50%

I think 06 and up dynas already have a similar mechanism installed stock from the factory.
The 2005 and earlier clutches require much more pull than the newer ones.
not sure this is going to buy you anything.
good luck.
I would say give it a go and see what ya think. I take it you have tried moving the lever mount to a different position that might make it easier to engage.
I smashed my elbow last month and couldnt squeeze my cluch for about 10 days.
A friend of mine recommended a clutchassist. He said he installed one on his wifes bike and it made it so easy.
He was afraid the wind would push it in........LOL
Mine is so bad all my buddies can't ride my bike. Not that its a bad thing.....
Yes, you should get one before it causes problems. I wentback to New Yorkthis past December and rode my friends 05 Fat Boy around for a couple of hours, between the low bar height that put my wrist in a awkward position and the force it took to pull the leverin, Iwas in agony. Still hurts a little now. When I got home and pulled the clutch in on my bike, my first thought was my clutch broke, felt like I was only pulling the cable through the outer cable jacket, big difference between the two.
ws6 the link says its stock on 06 and later or am i reading it wrong? i have an 07
First year is 2006, you already have it but you might have a harder pull due to your longer cable. You might want to lube your cable first, if that doesn't help thenget the aftermarket kit whichhas three degrees less of a ramp angle from what you already have. I know between the 05 and 06 there is a three degree difference and the pull between the 05 and 06 is a considerable difference. Read the statement from MRC below.
"MRC Clutch's 15 degree ramp angle will make even the '08 models easier to pull. Twin Cam models up to 2005 had 21 degree ramps. 2006 -'08model year Big Twins use 18 degree ramps."
