can anybody tell me what size the outside top nut is on my shocks i need to buy a socket for it its on an 05 fxdci thanks

I have a 99 so I'm not sure it is the same.
But why would you buy one socket? Go get a set. I think mine is 3/4". Anyway a set of sockets under 1" would not cost that much.
Besides think of tools as investments.

Duh, my bike is outside. Let me look.


Okay pretty sure mine is 3/4, but it may be different. Mine would come off with a regular 1/2 drive socket. I don't think I would need deep.
