Default Street Bob's Bar and Risers Info, Please

I'd like to switch the bar and risers on my 05 Low Rider over to mini apes with straight risers. I like the look of the Street Bob's. Can someone please give me the measurments for the risers and the bar info (height, base width, etc.)?

Some have suggested that I use the pre-06 Wide Glide stock mini apes. Are they pretty close to the Bob's stock bar? My only concern with them is wondering if their base width might be too wide for my narrow front end. I suspect that the base of most ape bars is pretty close to the width of the top tree, right?

Thanks all.

bump.

Aynone know what the outside bottom measurments are for the Street Bob's or pre-06 Wide Glide's bars? I'd like an idea of how they'll fit my narrow glide forks before ordering a pair.

Thanks.

Hey Halfbuck, sorry it took so long to get back to you. I don't check that PM address often. From what I know (and it ain't much). The stock mini apes are fine with your low rider. The width of my front end is the same as yours and the stock bars are perfect withit. I also think I know which ones you are talking about and it would be my guess that they are the same width. Mine look great and I was worried about any other type of bar being too wide like you said. The different situation you have is with your risers and bar clamp. My FXD has a bar mounted speedo and yours is on your tank. This makes it easier for you to switch things out.

Thanks JSW.

Were the stock Wide Glide bars you used part # 56079-93? (10" Base width (inside), 10.25" Rise, 6.5" Pullback) They don't look too wide at the base? What about risers? Did you go with 2"? If so, guess that would give a total height of around 12 or so?

If you have any pics of the front and bars, feel free to post or email.

Thanks again.

I just pulled out my receipt from the purchase. My handlebar # was 56563-95. I did not change my risers or clamps. You may have to because of the low rider set up. I know that the new WG bars are thicker and therefor you would need to change out the risers and clamps for my set up which costs a whole lot more. You may have to do that anyway and in that case, I would get the set up from the 06 WG. They are sweet lookin.
