You'll figure it out.. Maybe if you park your bike in a Walmart parking lot, and go shopping for several hours someone will be kind enough to steal them
Even in the Communist State of NJ they are not need, but you do need 2 inches of reflectivness (is that even a word?) on your Helmet for all it matters.
Take em off, Take em ALL off.
I wouldn't worry about the insurance company saying "too bad" if you don't have reflectors and get in a wreck.
make sure your state doesn't require them to pass inspection though.
I thought about removing mine but asked myself, what would happen if I got hit from the side, would someone say the bike is not in compliance with DOT safety codes?
Could I get a ticket? Maybe the insurance comp. would say too bad!
Just my 2cents.
Damn dude that's just a tad paranoid don't ya think.Honestly if they don't see your always on headlight, tail light and turn signal/running lights what makes you think they'll see a reflector?

Once upon a time, in the far off world of make believe, a rider was hit from the side, and had no reflectors on his bike. Doesn't matter that the reflectors wouldn't have made a difference, as the vehicle which hit him ran a stop light or stop sign and would have creamed him anyway. But, this rider, feeling that he had been severely wronged by the lack of reflectors, did what any good American would do, and hired an attorney and sued the **** out of the bike manufacturer. From then on, we now have refectors on our bikes when the arrive from the factory.
