Default Switched oil and wow

So I bought Amsoil from my dealer instead of the HD syn. The valvetrain is 100% quieter. I'm sold. I've complained about the noise since I got it. I put it in every hole except gas of course. I'm leaving for Oklahoma Wed morning from Nashville. Wanted to get everything serviced. About 800 miles each way. SHould be a good ride.

Good deal dude! Welcome to the dark side...
Later you should try Redline Shockproof Extra Heavy in the tranny. It looks like thick Pepto Bismol but it is some bad a$$ stuff.

Well, watch out fer them Jackalopes in Oklahoma. They're huge!!

I think anything is quieter than Syn3...... Why support the enemy, anyway?

AMsoil in the primary is night an day diff

I've been sold for a while...using Amsoil filters, Severe Gear in the tranny and 20/50 in the other two holes. It definitely quiets things down and in "my mind" I do think it runs a little cooler. I've used it in my last three bikes without any oil related issues and I will probably stick with it since I have no good reason to change (other than price) .

I did the AMSOil swap a couple of weekends ago when I hit the 1000 mile mark on my new engine build. I put the synth moto oil in the engine and the sever gear in my tranny. This definitely quited down the valve chatter on my high-lift cams, and really made an improvement in the tranny. I'm planning to keep HD dino juice in my primary with SE clutch kit. I would have to say that I am quite pleased with the swap.

"C" is for "Chrome". part number without the "C" suffix is black.
