mobil 1 v-twin syn.
changing oil over from the SYN3 to the Mobil 1 v-twin syn are any of ya'll running the same in the primary or should i go with just regular dino oil for the primary.

I use Mobil1, and it is pretty good. I want to try RedLine or AmsOil the next round. Mobil1 is just easier to get your hands on. Our AmsOil rep comes to bike night at Hooter's every Wednesday, so I may hit him up next time.

i am the same... not happy with the primary at all!!!! way to noisy... i am going to drain it and run amsoil... amsoil is the way to go... but as said above... mobile 1 is easer to get my hands on!

Just put Mobil 1 Vtwin in the engine, Mobil 1 75-90 in the trans and Redline MTL in the primary. Pretty smooth, quiet and cooler than the stock stuff...

I run mobil one in primary and engine mobil one 75w90 in trans in all my bikes .I used to run the vtwin in all holes this is the first service I put the gear lube in the trans and it seems to shift better with the gear lube.
