Need help from the people who know; I am helping a friend put V&H Big Shots and a S/E Heavy Breather intake on a 05 Dyna Superglide Custom. I know I have to put a fuel management system on it , so I was going to go with a V&H Fuel Pak. THe price is right compared to the PCIII or DynaTech. Do any of you use this box? does anyone advise against them ? It looks like a good unit. Any feedback would be great.
I have the V&H Big Shots staggered with SE intake although it's on the 96 inch engine on an 07 Wide Glide. Both the dealer and V&H strongly recommended some kind of fuel management so I went with the V&H Fuel Pak. The bike spits and pops on deceleration but runs better than stock; better throttle response and smoother acceleration and cruising.
I've run into a few guys who've swapped out the fuel pak for the Thundermax closed loop system. They all rave about it. It ain't cheap, but they say the bike runs better (no pops etc) and supposedly cooler.
A FRIEND SAYS ITS GOOD IF YOUR NOT TO DO ANY MORE UPS. THE PC3 IS READY TO ADVANCE TO MOST FUTURE UPGRADES. ILOVE MY PC SYS, CANT SAY ENOUGHT ABOUT FUELMOTO WHO SET IT UP ANSOLD IT, ANSWERED ANY Q'S I HAD [sm=teetertooter.gif]
Jag check with the guys at V&H (Adam is his name) he will tell you how to get rid of the popping. Something like changing #23 to 50. Common problem with an easy cure.

Thanks guys for the advice. After some research I went with the cobra FI2000. got a good deal from a local shop. Already on the bike. no problems so far.
PCIII from Fuel Moto and forget about it! I never could get my V&H fuelpak right, even with help (translation: PITA). Tmax is good too but only if you plan to make major mods in the future, otherwise its not cost justified.
Good choice I have the fuel pak and every time I sit on the seat I think it's gonna break ( too damn big) but if anyone has any problems with the mapping contact V&H they will help get it resolved there customer support is second to none.
