Just wondering when changing tostreet bob apes which I am what cables needchanged. Not trying to sound like a repeat offender, but I have to agree with some members that there seems to be alot of repeats. Only asking because of all the ape hanger questions nobody has said which If any cables need changed. I'm switching for comfort the stock 08 superglide bars just aren't comfortable being 6ft. Just asking.

I changed my stock bars on my 06 custom to mini apes off of a street bob. I had to change the clutch cable, throttle an idle cables an the front brake lines. I just used the stock cables an brake line that came on the street bob. Hopes this helps.

Also forgot to add I didnt have to change anything as far as wiring,there was enough extra wiring tucked up in the frame for me to move my switch housing. All an all it wasnt a hard change just a little time consuming if you want to do it right an make it look good.

I think I changed outjust my throttle cableswhen I did the EXACT same swap. It was last fall, really late at night, a spur of the moment thing and maybe there might have been a little bitof alcohol involved,so I can't really recall it all. Pretty sure those were the only ones though. It does everything as advertised, and is A HELL OF A LOT MORE comfortable. Once I remember, I'll edit in here, to let ya know.
