i think i'm quite pleased with my new dunlop SE 150/80/16. On dry it grips much better than the stock dunlop. I rode it for just about 30miles, and i gained more confidence as i went along. Actually, i got so confident that i scrapped my left footpeg when turning. I didnt realized that i was leaning the bike that far. that was just at slow speed. My front is stil the stock dunlop, gonna replace it in 6mths. i hope dunlop SE handle better on wet too. somehow i feel this SE is wider than the stock although they're 150.
I am coming from a sport bike that ate rear tires every 2500 miles. Maybe my frame of reference is skewed, but 5000-8000 miles per tire seems reasonable to me.

I am having the scraping pegs problems with my SE 150 as well.
I did get a couple of rain days in with the tires. I took at easy, which I usually do when the roads are wet. I didn't have any tire issues and was messing with the brakes on wet pavement trying to fine the "slip point" of the rubber. I'm overall extremely pleased with the Dunlop SE tires.
These are wider than the stock 150s and fill out that rear fender nicely.
