torx bit

do any of you know exactly what size torx bit I need to buy for removal of triple trees. 05 FXD. thanks.

Don't know, but I bought a set of six torx bits at Home Depot for $15. They've covered everything I've needed on my 06.

This is not good advice. The triple tree pinch bolts can be very difficult to loosen. I trashed a low quality Torx while doing this job. Ended up buying an expensive S-K single bit, and the effort required to free up these bolts was significant. Don't do this without the correct tool.

Did that include the magical #27 Torx head for like the derby cover? A "quality" one of those is a pain to find....got one from the Snap On guy for $22....just for one 3/8 drive socket torx head
