From what I gather it's not a tire but some sort of whitewall overlay. Now someone needs to but them and see how they work.

Well they are cheap enough to find out.....they have been around a long time...popular back in the 50's for cars and trucks.

This might be the only way to get a 17" whitewall.

I'd really like to find true white walls for my Dyna. I've always liked the nostalgic look of the wide white walls on the deluxe and the RK. However, I don't know if these overlays are the answer. I remember my Dad had them on his '57 Chevy Belair. They were okay for a while but then they got a little brittle with age and they wouldn't stay flat on the tire. There was always a little gap behind them.

Well, since they're about $20 a wheel I imagine it wouldn't be too big a deal to replace them if they start to wear out.I'm flat *** broke right now or I'd give em a shot. Also since the 17" is the one tire size that's not available in white wall technically you'd only need one because you can get 19" whitewalls all day long.
