Nice numbers.

1) What are your AFR's?
2) What is your MPG's for this build (curious)?

Thanks. I will be getting the map from the tuner, but for all of the "power" positions he started at 13.0. For the "cruising" positions we didn't exceed 14.1. I could have gone leaner, but heat (engine longevity) and power were my primary requests of the tuner. He suspects that I will be getting 38-40 mpg and down from there depending on how much I'm getting on it.

By the way, I tuned it only on 91 premium. I'm looking forward to seeing how she runs the river valley tomorrow on 110 racing fuel. [sm=icon_rock.gif]

All stock SE stuff (almost). I wanted to do a build this way.

I'm running the following:
SE Stage I - with Zippers high-flow kit
V&H ProPipes
95" with SE flat-top pistons (10:1 compression)
SE-251 cam
SE Performance Heads - Stock (not HTCC) with compression releases (just because they are cool)
SE lifters, roller rocker arms, perfect fit push rods, engine studs, head gasket
SE clutch kit (not just the spring)
S&S Crankcase Breather Valve per recommendation of St. Paul HD.

Build design - me (and all you out there who helped)
Builder - St. Paul HD
Dyno - Jason at Faribault HD

A big thing with this build (and any build for that matter) is matching up components. I have received feedback on the heads that running flat-top pistons will provide the best combustion chamber with these heads. With a 10:1 compression ratio, which is relatively low for a hot-rod, you need a higher lift, shorter duration cam since you don't have the extra compression boost. This is why I did the SE-251 cam. Also, as with any build stiffening things up, improving oil flow, and reducing friction points will all help as you have less power lost to heat. This is why on this "mild" build I did lifters, engine studs, roller rockers, and the "secret" trick of an S&S breather valve.

I'm obviously a Harley/Screamin' Eagle fan, and with these results, rightfully so. Don't get me wrong, there are a lot of **great** aftermarket hot-rod parts as well, many of which I considered. Feel free to let me know if you have any further questions.

think about how much faster it would be if it ws black...
So as black absorbs more light than silver (or white) then you have to factor that the slight pressure of the light is slowing your black bike down. hrrrm... maybe that was a bit to nerdy.

Looking forward to rolling with you this summer.
Are you sure? I'd have thought that the white and silver would be slower because they have to push all that light out of the way that the black just absorbs
