Primary cvr bolt size ???

Primary cvr bolt size ???

Recently stripped a torx head on the primary cvr, wanted to get hardware with allan heads before removal, anyone know the size offhand? If I remember correctly it looked like a 1/4-20 about an inch long, any help would be appreciated.

Best to take the top one out and take it to the hardware store and match it up. I got the same issue and ordered 5 new ones for $4.

1/4-20 x 1" sounds right. I replaced mine with stainless steel Socket Head Cap Screws.

They are 1/4-20x 3/4"long.(coarse thread) The 1 inch ones are too long. Just bought 5 at the local True Value for $2.50. What a difference. Screw the torx screws. Better look as well.

well my 05' dyna has two differant lengths for sure soo you might want to look for that. i have always used the new gasket to make a cardboard template of the bolt holes to put them in as i take them out cuz there all diff lengths. just a thought....
