For a 2008 FXD you will want to go with a smaller ape like our W0513. The problem with the drag bars is you will have to find another gauge mount for your speedo. It ispart ofyour top handlebar mount.

I put three inch pull backs on my super glide and it moved the speedo bracket so far back that it's now almost vertical,looks like chit and when the sun light is coming over you shoulder almost impossible to see the speedo. I'm trying a set of bars for a wide glide and ditching the pull backs.
