I'm kinda doing a consignment sale with the dealer, but they dont get a percentage. Basically,I'm selling it privately (with their help) and they will offer financing to the buyer. This cost me nothing and I pocket any money over the top of pay-off. Overall, I'm loosing a little in set-up/destination fees, taxes, title and license...but,if I (we) sell it for what they think I can sell it for, I should pocket about $2500. Right now, my particular Fat Bob (forward controls and black denim) is a VERY hot seller here and the dealer is saying they cant get anymoreat this time (they gottheir last one a day or 2 ago and it sold within 2 hours)AND they have people in line to buy a Fat Bob. We'll see how this goes. I got to take it back up there tonight. They are going to clean it all up and inspect it.
If this doesn't work (sale) within 30 days...then it goes on consignment with them...then they will get 10% (normally, 15%) of the sale.
If it still doesnt sell. Then I have my DREAM...2 scoots!!!!!!
