Anyone running rigid struts in place of shocks? Goin with a set of big growl pipes that may not clear the shocks, and figured that would also remedy my jiffystand issues (needs to be at least 1" longer). ordered 10" struts hopefully the tire won't rub inside the fender. I also ordered a set of 11" just in case. Lemme know what yall think... Or how stupid I am.
Is the pic for the pipes you are going to run ? I bought a set of not shocks from J&P but just could not bring myself to put them on my bike. They are the 10&1/2" version. I have a friend who runs them and he has very little clearence. It will be interesting to see if 10" ones will work. Not only is there very little tire clearence, there is also very little from sidewall to fender. You can barely get your finger between them. I am almost certain the 9&1/2" not shocks will not work. Good luck and post your issues and pics.

I ran struts on my Sporty many, many years ago. I really liked the ride. I'm to old for that now.
