Cant decide on what to get, the staggered shortshots, or the staggered big shots(shorts). i have heard the big shots and like how they sound. i have never heard the short shots and i dont wanna be dissapointed. I dont need the loudest of the two, just want something thats louder than the SE2 slip-ons i have now. Any suggestions appreciated!
I was in the same dilema as you, however, after reading through the threads here, I decide to go with the Python Staggered Duals, they are the exact same pipe as the V&H Big Shots Staggered (minus the fancy end cap) and they're about $100 cheaper. What mainly did it for me is that you get more power out of the Big Shots than with the Short Shots due to increased back pressure. I also wend with the Thunder Monster Baffles after reading the rave reviews on them.
I believe the primary difference between the short shots and the big shot shorts is the hidden crossover on the Big Shots. This gives you the look of 2 into 2 with the performance edge of 2 into 1. This was the deciding factor for me when I purchased my pipes (Big Shot Longs) for my fatboy. Just my 2 cents!
I think bid shots give the best sound & perf. I myself dont like any kind of exhaust that points down at the ground mainly becaus they blow dirt all over your scoot & everybody else

Good luck with your decision. Hope I helped.
The vato got it right.
Power wise the BSS or the Python Staggered make better power then the Short Shots. The Short Shots look cool as hell, and sound about the same as the other two. Personally, I'll take more power over looks. But then again. I also like the looks of the BSS.
If you are really stuck on that shortie look, the Bassini Pro Streets might be a better choice. They make phor more horsepower then the Short Shots, while maintaining the look.
i personally like the look of the short shot staggerd. the difference in power if probably very minimal, and on the v&h webstite they list for 350 as oppsed for the other up at 675. I'm gonna go with the shorts when i get the money. Unless they come out w/the side shots first. thats what i really want, they just don't have them for th 06s yet
