How is the weather over in Korea? I hope life is good. I recently received my pinpoint: K-16 Air Base, Seoul. I will be coming sometime this summer. My receiving unit wants me to go to school before I arrive, so I will be trying to arrange the schooling ASAP. Your scoot is looking good, keep up the good work.
Hey good to here from you. You will be about 45 minutes from me. I will take some better pics, a few othewr touches to show, after I clean it up, had rain off and on all weekend. The weather is getting warm and has been nice! Look forward to meeting you.
USFK closed my camp (Camp Page) 4 months after I left and I would love to go back to Korea. Keep it up brother..If you get the chance to ride over there, you gotta take it on Hwy 46 from Seoul to Chunchon, LOTS of turns and smooth road. Then beyond Chunchon is Sorak-san and man oh man, if you can get a pic on a scoot that's the place for it. Then take it down the eastern side of Korea on Hwy 7 and you couldn't ask for a better ride alone the coast, albeit with armed patrol boats and soldiers along the beach.
Here are a few pics taken a couple of years ago. I brought my R1 with me last time and had a blast tearing up the roads. Looking forward to doing the same this time, only on the Harley!
I may be living on South Post Yongsan due to the mandatory housing policy. That will suck a lot! I am sure, during rush hour, it will take me an hour/plus to get home. Not looking forward to that. I am hoping to get an exception to policy and live closer to the airfield. If you have any suggestions on how to get an exception to policy, let me know.
