i have 7893 miles on my 06 sg and it still has the factory plugs and wires in it..is it about time to change them..the bike starts and runs great but just wanted some feedback on how many miles before the change..thanks guys for any info
The manual for my '08 FXDB has plugs changed out at 20,000 miles. Wires shouldn't need to be changed unless you have a problem, or they show signs of wear, but I'd change those at 20K also.
That's a pretty crappy answer. Why don't we just answer everybody's questions with "go read the manuel". Wouldn't be much of a forum.
well i have the manual and i've refer to it many times but to me you guys are the best manual i could ever read.i've had a bike for about 8yrs now and i've owned a harley for 2 of them plus i've read countless posts on this forum so i know to refer to the manual but its nice to see what other dyna owners are running and at what times they change parts outto maybe better parts..i certunly never ment to insult anyone here by asking a question about somthing i could just go get the manual out and see what hd says, sorry if i did..anyway thanks guys for the advice..
