Default Solo Riding

How many or you out there ride with your wife or partner on the pillion seat. My wife when we were younger used to love riding pillion on my bike, even onceleft her standing in the middle of the road when I pulled a wheelie dragging off a car at a set of lights. However since we've had the rugrats, who are now all grown up, she won't comtemplate the idea which is why my ride has just a solo seat.

Yeah, my wife lost her nerve too.....but my kids are ages 10-18 so she says someone has to raise them after I have that head-on with a Kenworth. Did take her out a couple of times and she did get all juiced up from the vibration on the lowrider...

My wife loves to ride with me, I still have a Suzuki INtruder set up perfectly for two up riding. Currently the WG is set up for solo riding but I do have a rear seat coming in and just installed detachable backrest for her. This way I can now have more choices on what to ride, even when she wants to come with me.

My wife doesn't like the pillion. I ride solo most of the time. Even went on a 14 day 4k mile ride last year by myself. Maybe we will 'try' a new seat someday. I just hate the thought of spending all that money for a maybe.

About 75% of my riding is with the Mrs, usually with 1 or 2 other couples.

I used to ride with my wife as a passenger 99% of the time. A couple years ago, she passed her motorcycle licence. She don't want to be a passenger anymore. Last year, we bought 2 StreetBob with solo seats. So we ride in duo as two solo

My old lady is a lousy passenger so when she wants to go for a ride she takes her own bike.

That is awesome. My wife is trying to get enrolled in the MSF course but the classes are full. She has to get it before we head to Germany, if not she will hav eto wait until we return. [:@]

My wife rides with me on a regular basis on the weekends.I still use the QR backrest when she isn't around. I guess it keeps me honest so I won't pick up anyone.
