Default How do I get this off?

I was removing the bumpers in preperation for the arrival of my new Mustang solo and this happened. 3 of them came off just fine. 1 decided to leave a mess behind. I tried peeling with my finger but it did not work and their is no way I am taking a razor blade to my fender. I have Goof Off which I know will take it off but I am afraid it will damage the paint. Anyone else have this happen? And if so what exact cleaner did you use to get it off.

Thanks

Don't use "GoofOff", use "GooGone". It's a citrus based adhesive residue remover. You may have to let it sit for a while or eve reapply it a few times but it will work. It's a spray on gel so you should be able to let it sit for a while. Or, you may try heating up the "goo" and try to get it off that way.

Blow some heat on it, roll what you can off with your fingers, then apply goo-gone per instructions to get the rest.

Use WD40, or a little bit of rubbing alcohol, be careful though alcohol will remove the wax, so you will have to rewax.

Seems like all the "sticky" stuff is gone. Now it looks like a hard square there. Have let the googone soak for the past 15 min with the same result. How long does the WD40 need to soak?
