LumpyK,
Ya seethe folks that responded in this thread and you being concerned about the flag ettiquette shows me that all that responded and made sure this was correct are true patriotic Americans. As an active duty Senior Chief in the worlds finest Navy I salute you all. I lift my Glass and raise a toast. Heres to the Great U.S.A.

My sig pic shows my flag mounted to the right side of my sissy bar. A POW/MIA or other flag would be flown on the left.

A big thanks to all who have served or are currently serving. I salute you. Thanks, too, to all of you patriotic American riders who honor our flag and our troops by flying it on their bike.

I didnt take the time to find the link, but I heavily researched this before I mounted mine and it's a much discussed topic on the PGR site. The proper way to fly it is on the right side facing forward and all other flags on the left, the easy way to remember it is that when the bike is at rest and leaning left on the kickstand the SSB is in the highest position of honor.

First off, Thank You for your service, lumpy.
Secondly, I agree with the others, right side as you're sitting on it.
I get strange looks from the reverse flag patch on my jackets right sleeve.
I have to constantly explain that "the stars always go forward"
And it kinda irks me to see folks wearing the flag incorrectly...

I thought what I was saying was right. Glad to see that I am not the only one that took notice to this. Wasnt suprised to see that all that knew the answer or thought the same way I did also served in the military.

Star and Stripes FOREVER HOOOAAH!!
